Set realistic prize odds
The most common mistake with prize wheels is giving the grand prize the same slice as a sticker. This wheel starts in Weighted mode: everyday prizes get bigger weights and premium prizes get smaller ones. Each slice resizes to match its odds, so participants can see the chances are honest.
Want a guaranteed number of big prizes? Use Elimination mode or remove a prize once it's been won so it can't come up again.
Running a prize wheel at an event
Open the wheel in fullscreen on a laptop connected to a TV or monitor, and use the Space bar or a wireless presenter to spin. Fullscreen hides everything but the wheel and the result — no menus, no ads. Turn on sound for the tick and win effects; they make a booth feel lively.
Before the event, check your local rules. Many US states and Canadian provinces regulate contests where people pay to enter; a free-to-play prize wheel is usually simpler, but rules vary.
