Perfect for word and category games
Plenty of classic party and classroom games start with a random letter: name an animal, a city and a food that begin with it; write a sentence where every word starts with it; or race to list as many words as you can in a minute.
Some letters (like Q, X and Z) make these games very hard. Remove them from the wheel with the eye icon to hide them without deleting them, and bring them back any time with Restore all.
Phonics and early literacy
For young learners, spin a letter and ask for its sound, a word that starts with it, or to find an object in the room that begins with it. Add an emoji to each letter for a picture cue, or try the Alphabet Picker template, which pairs every letter with a familiar word.
