Built for word games
Category games, word scrambles and spelling challenges all start with a random letter. The Skip hard letters option leaves out Q, U, V, X, Y and Z, which tend to stall category games where you need a word for each topic.
Need tiles for a word-building game? Draw seven letters without repeats, or mix vowels and consonants by drawing from each set separately.
For teachers and parents
Use uppercase and lowercase pairs (Aa, Bb) for letter recognition, vowels only for short-vowel practice, or a batch of letters for a quick spelling warm-up. The generator works great on a projector or tablet.
